Water Storage Solutions

Harvesting rainwater in bigger storage is a science. The more voluminous the storage, the more rainwater one stores. A range of storage solutions available can help save rainwater.

The first level of storage anyone with rainwater harvesting should think of is an underground sump. The second level of storage can be the overhead tank. A mechanism to drain the fast filling underground sump to the overhead tanks by pumps can increase the capacity of storage. The last level storage of rainwater consists of standalone tanks and drums.

Creating Storage Solutions

What we do to create or increase rainwater storage capacity

  • 1

    Study the Storage Need

We first study the storage needs by considering two factors, the installable storage facility in the building structure and the budget of the client. We may not consider the standalone tanks and drums of lesser capacity as part of the RWH system.

  • 2

    Compare Existing Storage

We then compare the existing storage present in the building. Most buildings come with overhead tanks and most apartments have underground sumps. We consider all these factors and then give a comprehensive storage solution.

  • 3

    Suggest and Quote

As a next measure, we give a comprehensive rainwater storage plan (quotation) to the client. If the client has budget constraints, we suggest them to take up the storage plan in phases so that they can get the full benefits of the RWH.

    Suggest Storage Solutions
